High Steaks Vegas At Rio Launches New Pre-Theatre $85 Menu

High Steaks Vegas, the recently opened steakhouse from Chef/Partner James Trees, has announced changes to its operating hours and the addition of a new prix fixe menu, both effective today.

Located atop the Masquerade Tower at  Rio Hotel & Casino, High Steaks Vegas will now be open from 4:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sun-Thurs, 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Fri-Sat. 

To reward loyal local diners and support the love of Las Vegas entertainment, Chef Trees has also announced a new special “Pre–Theatre Menu” available nightly for guests attending shows at the Rio including Penn & Teller, The Empire Strips Back, W.O.W. and all diners seated 4:30-6 p.m. Priced at $85 (+ tax & gratuity), the robust three course menu includes popular favorites such as: 

First Course choices:

Wild Game Tartare | Pastrami Glazed Bacon | Prime Rib Sliders| Esther’s Caesar Salad | Chopped Wedge Salad

Second Course choices: 

American Wagyu Hangar Steak | 10 oz. Smoked Prime Rib | Venison Backstrap | Butternut Squash Tortellini | 

Choose any side dish from the main menu (Crab & Asparagus Oscar Gratin +10)

Surf & Turf (5 oz Filet Mignon, 6 oz. Lobster Tail) available for an additional $30.  

Dessert choices: 

Black Forest Piecaken | Hummingbird Cake

About Chef James Trees

A native of Las Vegas, Chef James Trees has cooked around the world under greats including Eric Ripert, Heston Blumenthal, Michael Mina, and Gordon Ramsay before returning to bring acclaim to his hometown local scene with his first restaurant, Esther’s Kitchen.
