Advertise On Travelivery – 3 Best Ways to Reach Our Readers
We know that you have MANY choices on where you advertise your product or service. You can go the traditional way with billboards, magazines, or television, but unfortunately, they lack one very important thing… they aren’t clickable.
Digital advertisement IS clickable and can lead your prospects directly where you want them to go on your website. Keep reading about the advantages of digital ads, or…
Jump Straight to The Information You’re Interested in
The advantage of spending your advertising dollars on the web is that people can easily click on a link or banner and go right to whatever page on your website that you’re interested in them seeing. Maybe one month you want to advertise a special deal on your product or service and the next month you want to promote your signature item. Directing your customers right where you want them to go, is a HUGE advantage over traditional media advertising.
We’ve all seen this happen ourselves. Traditional ads typically lead you only to a business’s main page (example.com), requiring YOU to then find the page that you’re interested in looking at. This leads to frustration and sometimes makes you want to close the website and look elsewhere.
When businesses advertise using digital ads they can leverage the fluidity of the digital space to update links more often than they can change out a billboard or shoot a new TV commercial. With a magazine or newspaper, even if that printed material is out there for years, the web address given in the printed ad could be out of date in a couple of months.
Advertise on Travelivery
Travelivery is a Business Directory, combined with an Entertainment and Travel news blog about the Travel Industry. From the dining, shopping, entertainment, grand openings, etc… it’s all here. If you’re looking to advertise to a broad clientele, advertising on the main Travelivery site would be the way to go.
What really sets Travelivery apart from other similar websites though, is that we also have sister city sites. Our sister city sites EXTEND the reach of Travelivery by cross-referencing each other. For example, someone that likes what they are reading on Travelivery may also find a link to Travelivery Las Vegas. Should they want to learn about Las Vegas, we’ve made it simple for them to click right on over.
When businesses advertise on a sister city site it allows them to be very specific about the type of client they’re looking to attract. The addition of new cities is always in the works and they will be added as interest grows.

Banner Ads
A popular way businesses satisfy their monthly advertising budget is by getting Banner Ads. They allow businesses to advertise themselves in a more direct and consistent way. One of the most visible areas on Travelivery, aside from our content, is the sidebar (right-hand side) of the website. Because when a reader scrolls down to continue reading an article on Travelivery, they are seeing Banner Ads as well.
Seeing Banner Ads is a familiar experience to readers, as they’ve seen something similar when reading a magazine or newspaper. But, unlike the ads they see in a magazine or newspaper, if they like what they see, they can immediately click on the Banner Ad to learn more about that product or service.
Guidelines to Advertise With Banner Ads
- The way Banner Ads work on Travelivery is very similar to the way that you see digital billboards function. A static billboard would show the same ad all the time. A digital billboard typically shows an ad for a short period of time, then rotates to another.
- Our Banner Ads vary slightly from a digital billboard because the ads don’t rotate until the page is changed or refreshed. There are 4 Banner Ads in each stack, with 14 stacks on every page. This is beneficial to businesses, as it can keep costs to advertise down by sharing the same space.
- To be fair to all that advertise, the stacks rotate each week so that one stack isn’t always at the top, or always at the bottom. That way everyone has a chance to be viewed at the top from time to time. This works by moving the bottom stack to the top each week, while the other stacks move down one.
- Where your Banner Ad links to when a reader clicks on it is up to you, as long as it’s somewhere on your business website. You are free to change where the link points to at any time, again, as long as it’s to your business website. We require 24-48 hours to make the change.
- Every page on Travelivery, sponsored or not, has a disclosure policy at the top of it. Therefore it isn’t a requirement for your Banner Ad to be labeled as an advertisement or as sponsored.
- We DO NOT accept Banner Ads from companies that are promoting anything that search engines would consider illegal, or that violates their TOS. Examples of such things include but are not limited to online gambling, porn, promoting fraudulent activity, etc.
- That said, Banner Ads on Travelivery, that are accepted or rejected, will be solely at our discretion. Do Not send your payment until your Banner Ad has been approved.
- Currently, Banner Ads inside of articles are reserved for Travelivery. That could change in the future.
- To maintain the look and feel of Travelivery, “site take over” ads and pop-up ads are not available.
Pricing to Advertise With Banner Ads
- The Banner Ad pricing structure is very simple. One 300×250 (square) Banner Ad costs $40 per month. You can buy out a 300×250 stack, all 4 ads, for $160 monthly. One 300×600 (rectangle) Banner Ad costs $60 per month. You can buy out a 300×600 stack, all 4 ads, for $240 monthly. We have found this system to be suitable for different budgets.
- If you don’t want to buy out a specific stack, but instead want your ads scattered throughout the different stacks, you can do that as well. You would just pay the monthly cost for each ad.
- You have the option of creating your own Banner Ad or if you are unable to and don’t have a graphic artist to make your ad, we can do it for you. The price ranges from $50-$100, depending on how intricate your Banner Ad is. Once finished, the Banner Ad is yours to keep and can be used elsewhere. Most Banner Ads do not need their artwork updated unless you make your Banner Ad very specific.

Sponsored Articles
Businesses that have a lot of information to get out, or if their product or service has a learning curve involved, tend to include Sponsored Articles as one of their advertising options. An article gives the business plenty of space to write about its product or service. There’s also space to add photos, how-to videos, and links to different pages on their website.
Guidelines to Advertise With Sponsored Articles
- It’s your choice to place your Sponsored Article on Travelivery.com or one of our sister city sites like Travelivery.com/Las Vegas. - We DO NOT accept Sponsored Articles from companies that are promoting anything that search engines would consider illegal, or that violates their TOS. After all, the objective is to get your company exposure, which would be difficult if your content isn’t also found on search engines. Examples of such things include but are not limited to online gambling, porn, promoting fraudulent activity, etc.
- That said, Sponsored Articles on Travelivery, that are accepted or rejected, will be solely at our discretion. Do Not send your payment until your Sponsored Article has been approved.
- Note, WE will not write your articles for you. You must provide the written Sponsored Article.
SEO Tips For Your Sponsored Article
- Although you’re not required to make your Sponsored Article SEO-friendly, below are some SEO tips should you wish to make your Sponsored Article, SEO-friendly.
- Make sure your article has at least 600 words, but shoot for 1,000 words if you can. Because the more words you have in your Sponsored Article, the better it is for SEO.
- Decide on a keyword(s) you want to be found for. Include that keyword(s) throughout the content of your Sponsored Article.
- Include your keyword(s) in your Sponsored Article title, making sure it’s no longer than 60 characters.
- We suggest that you provide at least 2 photos, that you own, one vertical, at least 1200 pixels high, and one horizontal, at least 1200 wide. Photos help tell your story. If for some reason you don’t have photos yet, free photos can be found on multiple websites, for example, Pixabay.com and Pexels.com.
- Your Sponsored Article SHOULD be a new article and not copied from another website. With multiple writing tools available today, new content should be relatively easy to write.
- The majority of Travelivery’s readers are based in the United States and do speak English. It is to your benefit to ensure that your Sponsored Article is written well for an English-speaking audience.
- If you have a video on YouTube that talks about your product or service, you can provide a link for it.
- Finally, when it comes to links to your website. You can have one link to your or your client’s main website page and one link to a specific page on your or your client’s website. Loading your article with tons of links to your or your client’s website won’t help you.

This is also the approach you may want to take if you’re looking to increase the SEO of your website.
Guidelines to Advertise With Link Insertions
- Your link can only be inserted into general articles on Travelivery or its sister city sites. If someone has paid for a Sponsored Article, you are unable to insert your link on that article. You would want the same courtesy given to you. The public can’t see which articles are sponsored, so we will let you know.

For instance, if you wanted to link the keyword Best Restaurants, any time that keyword showed up on Travelivery, your link would be attached to it. That could be once, twice, or several times. We can not guarantee how many times it will show, as keyword placement throughout various articles can vary.
- When thinking about purchasing a site-wide Link Insertion, keep in mind that Travelivery.com and our sister city sites (ex. Travelivery.com/LasVeagas) are treated separately. You’ll be asked before Link Insertion which website you want your link on.
- Every article on Travelivery, sponsored or not, has a disclosure policy at the top of it. Therefore it isn’t a requirement for your Link Insertion to be labeled as an advertisement or as sponsored.

- We DO NOT accept Link Insertions from companies that are promoting anything that search engines would consider illegal, or that violates their TOS. Examples of such things include but are not limited to online gambling, porn, promoting fraudulent activity, etc.
