Ethel M Chocolates Receives Proclamation at Grand Opening Celebration
Ethel M Chocolates is celebrating “National Chocolate Day” with a grand reopening celebration of its factory and flagship store in Henderson. The event will begin with a proclamation ceremony, which will include remarks from Ethel M and Opportunity Village representatives, and a proclamation announcing Oct. 28 as Ethel M Day from Councilwoman Gerri Schroder. The event will be at 10 am.
The day will be filled with family-friendly activities, live entertainment, raffles and prizes, chocolate samplings, and more. Guests will also have the opportunity to bid on custom Ethel M Chocolate boxes created by Las Vegas’ top entertainers including Terry Fator, Anthony Cools and the cast of Absinthe. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Opportunity Village.
Admission to the event is free and open to the public. There is a fee of $19.99 for guests who are interested in participating in the all-new Chocolate Tasting Room Experience. In partnership with Three Square and Help of Southern Nevada, guests can also bring a non-perishable food donation or a new toy donation to receive their four-pack of tickets to the holiday lighting ceremony on Nov. 15.
