Bright and early Friday morning, the vegan fast-food joint welcomed its first guests, ordering specialty breakfast items such as the “Canadian Bacon, Egg & Cheese” Muffin, the “Sausage, Egg & Cheese” Croissant, the “Chicken & Waffle” Sandwich and more.

Las Vegas Commissioner Ross Miller also made an appearance, welcoming Plant Power to Las Vegas with a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the restaurant’s co-founders Zach Vouga and Jeffrey Harris, the restaurant’s operations team, Scale x 3 Management, consisting of Randy Corrigan, Barry Tu, and McKenzie Cox, and friends and family who joined the celebration.

As Commissioner Miller cut the inaugural ribbon with giant scissors, the crowd behind him happily cheered the restaurant’s mission statement, “changing the world one burger at a time!”

Following the ribbon-cutting, Commissioner Miller handed out several drive-through orders to guests.

“It’s amazing to see how far we’ve come in establishing a wide variety of food options in the Las Vegas community,” said Commissioner Miller, “I’m already looking forward to my next visit to Plant Power Fast Food!”

Additionally, the first 100 guests were given vouchers good for a free burger on their next visit.

“The future of fast food is looking bright!” said Vouga.

They are open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. The location features a mid-century modern design atmosphere with indoor and outdoor dining, airy floor-to-ceiling windows under a sloped roof, a drive-through, and a self-order kiosk. As the food chain commits to its mission to make the world a better place, all tables, booths, and chairs are made from renewable bamboo and recycled waste, and takeout packaging is fully compostable.
