Al Vapor Street Tacos at Palms: Irresistible 5th Spot
Al Vapor Street Tacos at Palms is now open, and the Las Vegas family favorite is serving Mexico City street food from a food truck on the patio inside Palms Casino Resort’s newly expanded 7,500-square-foot non-smoking gaming space.
It’s the local brand’s fifth location in the Las Vegas Valley. Al Vapor brings its signature street tacos, family recipes, and bold flavors to an award-winning resort.
Family Recipes From Mexico City
A husband and wife raised on the flavors of Mexico City founded Al Vapor Street Tacos in 2018. It began as a family food truck built on recipes passed down through generations. Two parents sharing their love of traditional Mexican cooking turned into a beloved local business, and now the next generation helps lead the expansion. The founders remain actively involved in the kitchen and daily operations, so the authentic flavors and family traditions behind Al Vapor keep showing up on the plate.
Al Vapor Street Tacos at Palms Menu
Here’s what Al Vapor is serving on the Palms patio:
- Street Taco Combo: Three corn tortilla tacos with your choice of asada, adobada, birria, or pollo, topped with onions and cilantro. Pollo tacos come with sour cream and cheese.
- Quesabirria Combo: Three medium corn tortillas filled with your choice of protein and mozzarella cheese, served with savory consommé for dipping.
- Asada Fries: Crinkle-cut Cajun fries loaded with melted cheese, beans, Maya sauce, sour cream, onions, and cilantro.
- Loaded Nachos: Crispy corn tortilla chips layered with mozzarella cheese, beans, sour cream, onions, and cilantro.
- Quesadillas: Flour tortillas filled with cheddar cheese and served with sour cream and salsa.
- Aguas Frescas: Cucumber-lime, horchata, strawberry, pineapple, watermelon, and hibiscus. Mix flavors or add chili.
Mom’s Red vs. Dad’s Green
The homemade salsas are the heart of Al Vapor’s story, and the founders created both. Mom’s red salsa and Dad’s green salsa have fueled a friendly family rivalry that continues today. Loyal customers have joined the debate over which one is better. Try both and decide for yourself.
