FANTASY Luxor Anniversary: Celebrate 27 Years

The FANTASY Luxor anniversary arrives Wednesday, Oct. 14, when FANTASY: The Strip’s Sexiest Tease marks 27 years at Luxor Hotel & Casino with a red carpet arrival and a showstopping performance. The award-winning female revue will also debut new numbers and reveal its 2027 calendar, “Lights, Camera…FANTASY.”
What’s New in the Show
This year’s biggest addition is a sultry number set to “Black Car” by Leon Else. Choreographer Yesi Burgess, a former cast member and current resident director of Voltaire, built it. A Havana native, Burgess blends Latin rhythms with contemporary dance for a routine that’s seductive and hard to look away from.
The crowd favorite “Suavemente” gets a hotter twist too. Cast member Talia Rose adds fire eating to the number, a first in the production’s history.
Creator Anita Mann says the revue evolves right along with the city: “Like Las Vegas, we continue to evolve.” Each year brings new choreography, new costumes, and new ways to spotlight the dancers.

The 2027 Calendar Gives Back
The “Lights, Camera…FANTASY” calendar features photography inspired by the revue’s biggest numbers. A portion of every sale benefits the Nevada State Museum, Las Vegas, which preserves the history and cultural impact of the Las Vegas showgirl.
The tie to the museum is already established. Earlier this year, for National Showgirl Day, the production donated original costumes from its 1999 debut. Interim museum director Josef Diaz says that kind of support helps the museum care for the costumes, artifacts and stories behind Las Vegas entertainment history.
FANTASY Luxor Anniversary: 27 Years of Showgirls at Luxor
The production debuted at Luxor in 1999 and has since entertained more than 2.5 million guests across 10,000 performances. Today it runs 15 high-energy numbers set to music spanning multiple decades, led by award-winning vocalist Lorena Peril. Dancers and aerialists come from numerous states and several countries.
The honors keep stacking up. The Las Vegas Review-Journal and Las Vegas Weekly have named it “Best Female Revue,” “Best Production Show,” “Best Showgirls” and “Best Bachelor Party,” and the show holds a Key to the Las Vegas Strip.

Meet the Creator, Anita Mann
Mann’s career began at 17, when she spotted a casting call for dancers outside CBS Studios in Los Angeles. She stretched the truth about her age and landed her first televised dance role. The path that followed led her to work alongside Elvis Presley, Lucille Ball and choreographer Jack Baker.
She went on to earn Emmy nominations for “The Muppets Go Hollywood,” “Solid Gold” and the “Jerry Lewis MDA Telethon,” plus an Emmy Award for the “75th Annual Miss America Pageant.” In 1986 she became the first female producer in Las Vegas history with “AM: A Blast from the Past” at the Riviera. She also co-founded the Dance Hall of Fame.
Mentorship is central to her company. Co-producer Mariah Nieslanik was promoted in 2022, and Ashton Bray became performance director in 2023. Shannon Hammitt, a former executive assistant, now oversees marketing and advertising for Anita Mann Productions projects, including this one.
