The Rio Zipline is an exhilarating attraction that delivers a Las Vegas experience unlike any other. It sends guests soaring higher than 500 feet in the air at electrifying speeds, offering 360-degree open-air views of the Las Vegas Strip.
The one-minute and 10-second zip ride takes off from VooDoo Lounge, located atop Rio’s 50-story Masquerade tower, sending guests cascading more than 800 feet to the Ipanema tower and reaching speeds up to 33 miles per hour. Rio Zipline can accommodate up to two riders at one time and has a unique feature – on the return trip guests will ride an additional 800 feet to the starting point facing backward, a total ride of nearly one-third of a mile.
Reminiscent of a ski lift for two, the open-air ride zips you and a friend (or stranger) at speeds up thttps://vegas.vdvm.net/61eZmo 35 miles per hour to the Rio’s Ipanema tower, and back. 35 mph might not sound very fast, but it sure feels like it, as your feet dangle in mid-air high above the ground, with hard pavement and only a lap belt to protect you.
You may find that instead of fear, excitement and exhilaration take over your face. You may also find yourself screaming at the top of your lungs for the entire ride. Whatever way you decide your ride on Rio Zipline to be, don’t worry, many people find themselves kissing the ground upon their return. You won’t be the first person to do it. You certainly won’t be the last.
