Sickies Garage Burgers & Brews Set to Open in Las Vegas

A new dining experience gets its motor runnin’ as Sickies Garage Burgers & Brews shifts into gear inside Town Square Las Vegas.

Opening Labor Day weekend, guests can fuel their hunger with an expansive menu of 50 award-winning burgers and 50 beers, among a vast selection of other items, while dining in a fun and funky garage-themed space underneath classic cars, trucks, and motorcycles. This location adds to the other six Sickies Garage locations in Bismarck and Fargo, ND, East Grand Forks, MN, Sioux Falls, SD, Rapid City, SD, and Omaha, NE.

“The Sickies Garage experience is perfect for Vegas. An over-the-top menu in the most over-the-top city in the world!” said CEO Ken Harris.

Put the pedal to the metal with a selection of 50 burgers, each patty made from fresh, hand-formed Angus beef, or choose from American Kobe beef or ground turkey. Standouts include the Twin Cam (a burger topped with peppered bacon and nacho cheese, dialed in between two grilled cheese sandwiches for buns); Glazed Doughnut Burger (American cheese and peppered bacon on a glazed doughnut bun); Macaroni and Cheese Burger (topped with extra cheesy macaroni, and bacon bits); and the fan-favorite Sickies Burger (stacked with bacon, egg, pulled pork, and onion rings), which was featured by Yahoo as the “Most Over-The-Top Hamburger” in North Dakota. Black and silver football buffs can land a taste bud touchdown with the Black Hole (cheese curds, fried jalapenos, and Sickies special sauce). Sweeten your meal with a selection of eight old fashioned shakes and malts including Butterscotch, Raspberry, and Coffee.

The high-octane menu also features an expansive selection of award-winning burgers, beers, wings, appetizers, sandwiches, wraps, salads, and malts. Take a warm-up lap with Tater Kegs (over-sized tater tots filled with bacon, cheddar, and chives); Sickies Nachos (waffle fries loaded with nacho cheese, buffalo chicken strips, onions, black olives, pepperoncini, tomatoes, and sour cream); or the Fried Pickles (lightly breaded sliced pickles served with Cajun horseradish dipping sauce).

An expansive chicken wing selection features 24 sauces, many of which have received Best Of accolades, including Jameson Wings (smooth Jameson Irish Whiskey taste without the burn); PB&J Wings (featuring Sickies’ uniquely delicious, award-winning sauce), and Hurricane Wings (blending the worlds of buffalo, BBQ, and Jamaican jerk sauces).

In the early 2000s, a group of like-minded friends would meet up to tinker on their projects – motorcycles, cars, or to just talk shop. Grilling at the garage sparked a new avenue for creativity, crafting experimental burgers with unusual toppings that family and friends were excited to try. Testing the newest burgers at the garage, which quickly became known as “Sickies Garage,” was often the reason to play hooky from work by calling in “sick.” These friends just wanted to spend more time together on their projects at the garage than they did at work. All who met at the garage were eager to have their own special burger and quickly the offering grew into an arms-length-list of 50 burgers and 50 brews. Something truly for everyone, by everyone. So, in 2012 these friends opened their first full-service restaurant to sell their now infamous burgers, wings, brews, and malts and Sickies Garage Burgers & Brews was born. The first restaurant was welcomed by the community in Fargo, ND, leading to a roadway of success with new locations opening in Bismarck and Grand Forks, ND, and Sioux Falls and Rapid City, SD.
