This will be the first event of its kind held in Las Vegas, though Nobu and Yuji have a long-standing friendship. Guests will be served cocktails and canapes upon arrival, and then will be seated for an unforgettable seven-course Omakase wine-paired dinner in an intimate setting, led by the two Masters. Pairings will feature blends only available in Japan, making this a once-in-a-lifetime experience for most of those attending.

While sake is most often tied with Japanese cuisine, wine has been produced in Japan since the early 1800s with the high demand from the West. Katsunuma-cho is now one of the world’s great winemaking regions and Katsunuma Jyozo Winery is one of the primary creators of fine wines within the region. The founder Yoshichika Aruga started making wines in 1937 and promised to “make only wines of great quality, even if we produce just one barrel.” This tradition continues today – producing and improving wines that express to the fullest Katsunuma’s history and culture.

Guests should not miss out on this rare opportunity, at $395++ per person. To reserve your seat, please contact ilegchilina@caesars.com.

About Nobu Matsuhisa

Nobu Matsuhisa is a Japanese celebrity chef and restaurateur known for his fusion cuisine blending traditional Japanese dishes with Peruvian ingredients. His signature dish is black cod in miso.

In 1977, he moved to Los Angeles and worked at Japanese restaurants “Mitsuwa” and “Oshou”, and in 1987, he opened his own restaurant “Matsuhisa” on La Cienega Boulevard in Beverly Hills, California. The restaurant quickly became a hot spot and was frequented by Hollywood celebrities, including Robert De Niro, who invited Nobu to set up a restaurant in Tribeca, New York City.

In August 1993, the two opened up in partnership NOBU to critical acclaim. Nobu restaurants were later opened in Milan, London, Qatar, Greece, Dallas, Tokyo, Honolulu, Moscow, Dubai, Mexico City, Budapest, and Hong Kong.

Nobu Matsuhisa’s friendship with Robert De Niro landed him a role in the 1995 Martin Scorsese film Casino, as a wealthy businessman who was a guest at De Niro’s casino. He also had small roles in Austin Powers: Goldmember, as well as Memoirs of a Geisha, where he played a kimono artist. – Wikipedia
