Last night (Saturday, Sept. 5), The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas welcomed back actor and comedian Kevin Hart as he kicked off his wildly popular HartBeat Weekend at the resort for the second consecutive year. The evening featured back-to-back performances of Kevin Hart & Friends Comedy All-Stars Hosted by Kevin Hart inside The Chelsea.

Hart hosted an evening of stand-up performances for fans as his favorite comedian friends Keith Robinson, Tony Rock and JB Smoove kept the crowd laughing out of their seats throughout every set. The night concluded with a special guest performance by popular comedian and actor DeRay Davis. The later comedy show featured a surprise appearance by comedian, actor and screenwriter Hannibal Buress. Notable celebrities in attendance included Terrence J from “E! News,” singer Ne-Yo and rapper Busta Rhymes. Following the showcase, audience members were invited to the HartBeat Weekend Presents Kevin Hart & Friends Comedy All-Stars After Party with Kevin Hart at Marquee Nightclub inside the resort.

HartBeat Weekend continues this evening (Sunday, Sept. 6) with Grammy-Award winning recording artist Drake at Boulevard Pool with special guest Jhené Aiko. The official HartBeat Weekend After Concert Party with Drake will take place at Marquee Nightclub following the show.

Upcoming events at The Chelsea include Lenny Kravitz with special guest Andra Day (Sept. 8); The MetroPCS Friday Night Knockout on truTV (Sept. 11); Neil Young + Promise of the Real (Oct. 11); and Sam Hunt with special guest Carter Winter (Dec. 4).

About Kevin Hart

Kevin Hart is an American actor, comedian, writer, and producer. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Hart began his career by winning several amateur comedy competitions at clubs throughout New England, culminating in his first real break in 2000 when he was cast by Judd Apatow for a recurring role on the TV series Undeclared. The series lasted only one season, but he soon landed other roles in movies like Paper Soldiers (2002), Scary Movie 3 (2003), Soul Plane (2004), In the Mix (2005) and Little Fockers (2010).

Hart’s comedic reputation continued to grow with the release of his first stand-up album I’m a Grown Little Man (2008), and performances in the films Think Like a Man (2012), Grudge Match (2013), Ride Along (2014), About Last Night (2014) and Get Hard (2015). He also released two more comedy albums, Seriously Funny in 2010 and Laugh at My Pain in 2011. He currently stars as himself in the lead role of Real Husbands of Hollywood. – Wikipedia
