Beginning Thursday, October 9, CatHouse, the ultra lounge at the Luxor, will embark on GEN X, a musical throwback night dedicated to the past few decades.

Generation Xers will party as if it were 1999 with the seventies, eighties, and nineties music as CatHouse debuts its new night, GEN X. Resident DJ Mike Licata will spin an eclectic mix of rock, pop, new wave, disco, punk, hip-hop, and grunge sounds from back in the day. All locals receive complimentary admission before midnight.

Fusing restaurant, ultra lounge, and performance, CatHouse offers the Las Vegas nightscape a discrete playpen for spontaneous, provocative and sophisticated entertainment. Inspired by the rich opulence of a 19th-century European bordello, CatHouse was created by an international team that includes European jet-setters, Australian celebrities, theatrical producers and one of Sin City’s most popular chefs.

“Arguably the best” new nightclub or ultra lounge according to KTLA in Los Angeles, and named “an A-list oasis” by online media, CatHouse has quickly become the most exclusive celebrity hot spot in Las Vegas. Celebrity guests such as Adrien Brody, Rosario Dawson, Rose McGowan, Michelle Rodriguez, Gerard Butler, Jack and Kelly Osbourne, Jaime King, Jordana Brewster, Akon and Tommy Lee have been recently spotted at CatHouse. The Chandelier Room at CatHouse is open seven nights per week from 6 p.m. until late. The ultra lounge at CatHouse is open Friday, Saturday, and Monday from 10:30 p.m. until late, and the Chandelier Room evolves from dining room to late-night house spot every Wednesday night.
