The internet sensation hit over 10 million subscribers on YouTube, booked over 86 “D.R.E.A.M. The Tour” dates and starred in her first feature film, “Angry Birds The Movie 2” set to premiere on Aug. 14.
Following her Las Vegas concert at Mandalay Bay Events Center, Siwa arrived at Sugar Factory where she was greeted by a crowd of adoring fans all cheering for her. In true JoJo fashion, she was dressed head-to-toe in sequins with pink pants and a blue shirt with a pink heart, white sneakers with jewels, and of course one of her signature hair bows decorated with rainbow gems as she posed for pictures on the red carpet. Siwa ran to the candy store as soon as she walked in the restaurant, shouting she truly feels like a “Kid in a Candy Store” referencing her hit single. While there, she filled three buckets full of rainbow sour belts, sour patch kids, gummy sharks, skittles, Tootsie Rolls, root beer bottles and mini gumballs to take for the bus ride after. She also had to try the Scooper Hero ice cream she said because it looked like a rainbow. As she roamed around the candy store, filming for her YouTube channel she was seen singing and dancing to the music while looking at all the different retail items. When she left the candy store JoJo grabbed a plush ice-cream cone pillow and said she was set for life on candy thanks to Sugar Factory.
When Siwa entered the dining room she yelled, “anyone with a bow in their hair gets a high five!” Fulfilling the promise, she walked around high fiving and hugging all her fans and posing for pictures with everyone that came to see her. Before heading to her party, Siwa signed a photo of herself that is now hanging on the wall in the restaurant.
Siwa was joined by over 50 family members and close friends, including her mom Jessalynn, her dad Tom, her brother Jayden, her manager and her dancers from “D.R.E.A.M. The Tour.”. The party headed upstairs to the Chocolate Lounge which was decorated with rainbows, big bows, glitter, a life-size balloon sculpture of her character “Jay” from her first feature film “Angry Birds The Movie 2” and balloons spelling “10 Million” to represent the internet phenomenon hitting 10 million subscribers on YouTube. They enjoyed non-alcoholic ocean blue goblets, non-alcoholic lollipop passion goblets, non-alcoholic watermelon patch goblets, and non-alcoholic fuzzy peach penguin mango goblets along with a special dinner menu featuring chicken fingers, mac and cheese pops, onion rings, buffalo chicken wings, rigatoni alfredo, roasted chicken breast, rainbow sliders, and french fries.
To add to the fun, Sugar Factory created a JoJo inspired “JoJo Goblet”, made exclusively for JoJo and her group. A refreshing non-alcoholic watermelon lemonade garnished with sour gummy moons and stars, lemon gummy slices, a candy necklace, red rock candy stick, a unicorn lollipop and topped with signature JoJo style sparkling pink cotton candy. Siwa was seen giving hugs and taking selfies with all her guests, filming for her YouTube channel to show off the over-the-top decorations and singing and dancing while her songs played over the speakers.
The group ended the night by indulging in the Tie Dye Insane Milkshake, Giggles Snickers Insane Milkshake, Caramel Sugar Daddy Insane Milkshake, Chocolate Rocky Road Insane Milkshake, Cookie Monster Make a Wish Insane Milkshake and a King Kong Sundae complete with bright shining sparklers when JoJo said she had a blast and thank you to Sugar Factory for an epic party.
