Created exclusively for The Golden Tiki’s cabinet of curiosities by Smithsonian artist Terry Barr, the head was sculpted over the course of four weeks, referencing photos of The Gazillionaire to ensure physical accuracies, including his gold tooth.

Before introducing The Gazillionaire, Monti Rock III took to the stage, saying The Golden Tiki was his favorite hangout.

The Gazillionaire thanked The Golden Tiki for the great honor, adding, “If you want to get a little Gazillionaire head, you can come here now. I’m happy to be enclosed in a glass case with Carrot Top for all of eternity.” He gave his head a kiss on the lips and posed for photos with fans.

The Gazillionaire joins the bar’s growing collection of famous shrunken heads, including Marky Ramone of The Ramones, Carrot Top, Frank Marino, Robin Leach, Norm Clarke, Claire Sinclair, magician Murray Sawchuck, Vinnie Paul of Pantera, Chris Phillips of Zowie Bowie, Monti Rock III, Lonnie Hammargren, Rich Little and Piff the Magic Dragon.

About The Gazillionaire

There are three recurring roles in Absinthe: the Gazillionaire, Penny Pibbets, and the Green Fairy. The Gazillionaire is a “sleazy snake-oil salesman…with bad teeth, bad suit, bad pointy glittery shoes.” A comedian, he is the host of the show. He makes jokes at the expense of the audience and introduces the performers. The character Penny Pibbets, the assistant to the Gazillionaire and performed by Anais Thomassian, performs a routine with a sock puppet that journalist Robin Leach described as “more than XXX-rated – not one word can be written here, it’s that obscene!” Sweets is the personification of the green fairy. She wears a green costume and sings as she performs a burlesque style strip tease. An additional character, Maxim, who is the Gazillionaire’s butler, performs a chair balancing at the opening of the show.
