The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas will once again play host to an entire weekend of roaring New Year’s Eve celebrations on the Las Vegas Strip.

Revelers can ring in 2019 with world-class entertainment by Ariana Grande and Imagine Dragons at The Chelsea presented by Entercom, French Montana at Marquee Nightclub, a fireworks viewing party overlooking the Strip at The Ice Rink, and an Alice in Wonderland themed cocktail party at the iconic Chandelier. Guests can kick off the celebratory evening with specialty dinners at a number of the resort’s renowned restaurants and lounges.

The Chelsea

About Imagine Dragons – Formed in 2009, Imagine Dragons first revealed their limitless passion and genre-bending sensibilities with a series of independently released EPs that quickly earned a grassroots following. After hitmaking producer Alex Da Kid signed them to KIDinaKORNER/Interscope, the band made their major-label debut with Continued Silence, a 2012 EP featuring the double-platinum breakthrough single “It’s Time.” With their full-length debut Night Visions arriving later that year, Imagine Dragons found themselves on a skyward trajectory that saw the album debut at No. 2 on the Billboard 200, selling more than five million copies worldwide. The Ice Rink

Annual Fireworks Viewing Celebration

Monday, Dec. 31 – 7 p.m. – 1 a.m.

The highly anticipated New Year’s Eve celebration at The Ice Rink will also host its annual fireworks viewing party for guests of all ages with ice skating, open bar and a live DJ overlooking the Las Vegas Strip.

  • Tickets for New Year’s Eve at The Ice Rink are available on their website or through Ticketmaster. Adult tickets include an open bar and complimentary skate rentals. Those under the age of 21 with tickets will be provided with complimentary soft drinks and skate rentals.
    • General admission tickets $150 each.
    • Tickets for those under the age of 21 are available starting at $50. All underage guests must be accompanied by an adult.
    • Beginning at 11:30 p.m., hotel guests can access the pool deck to view the fireworks complimentary but must purchase a ticket to skate or access the open bar.

Marquee Nightclub

New Year’s Eve with French Montana

Monday, Dec. 31 – Tickets start at $75 – Doors at 9 p.m. – Must be 21 and over

Guests are invited to dress to impress for an unforgettable New Year’s Eve party at Marquee Nightclub with a special performance by French Montana. Passed hors d’oeuvres will be available from 9 p.m. – midnight as well as a premium open bar from 9:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. Attendees will also enjoy a complimentary champagne toast as they countdown to 2019.

CliQue Bar & Lounge

Event begins at 8:00 p.m. – $125 Open Bar Package – Table reservations start at $250 per seat – Must be 21 and over

For guests looking to celebrate the New Year with craft cocktails and live DJ entertainment, CliQue Bar & Lounge will offer open bar packages and table reservations, closing out 2018 in an intimate and eclectic setting. DJ Jkrazy will kick off the party while DJ Break will usher partygoers into 2019 as they toast to the New Year.

The Chandelier

Down the Rabbit Hole

General admission tickets $250 each – Premium tier $375 each – Must be 21 and over

Beginning at 8:00 p.m., guests can enter through the glimmering crystals on level 1.5 of The Chandelier and into this Alice in Wonderland themed New Year’s Eve celebration. The open bar celebration will feature Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut and Perrier Jouët Blason rosè by the glass. Specialty cocktails created by The Cosmopolitan’s Chef Mixologist, Mariena Mercer, will feature Absolut Elyx, and Avion tequila. Guests who purchase a Premium Tier ticket will enjoy Pierre Jouët Belle Epoque champagne and access to the New Year’s Eve Ice Rink celebration after 11:00 p.m. A live DJ and various activations throughout the lounge will bring the party to life as guests ring in 2019 inside the gorgeous, iconic space.

THE RESTAURANT COLLECTION

Guests are invited to start the evening with The Cosmopolitan’s dynamic Restaurant Collection, where venues will offer innovative prix-fixe menus and celebratory cocktails. Reservations for all restaurants in advance are required and can be made by calling 877.893.2003.

Beauty & Essex

New Year’s Eve Prix Fixe menu available at 9:30 p.m. seating for $175 per person. – A la carte menu available for 5:00 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. seatings.

Beauty & Essex’s New Year’s Eve menu will offer a wide variety of menu offerings to satisfy all tastes. Menu highlights include Orange Kissed Salmon Ceviche, Tuna Poke Tacos, Beet & Creamy BurrataJewels on Toast, and Grilled Cheese, Smoked Bacon & Tomato Soup Dumplings. Guests can choose two main dishes of Oven Braised Chicken Meatballs, Spaghetti, Lobster Gnocchi, Crispy Thai Style Shrimp, Roasted Chicken “Pozole”, Grilled Atlantic Salmon or Chili Dusted Lamb Chops. Round off the meal with a choice of two decadent desserts and a complimentary champagne to toast the end of 2018.

Blue Ribbon

$185 per person – Seatings: 5:00 p.m, 5:30 p.m., 9:30 p.m., 10:00 p.m., 10:30 p.m. – A la carte menu will be available upon request.

Blue Ribbon’s New Year’s Eve celebration menu includes a raw bar platter complemented with a choice of chilled vodka or glass of champagne, followed by a choice of wedge salad or onion soup. Entrée options feature menu highlights, with a choice of Filet of Beef, Steamed Lobster, Paella Basquez or Rack of Lamb. For dessert, guests will enjoy a decadent chocolate fondue with chocolate bread pudding and fresh fruit.

China Poblano

Tasting menu: $70 per person. Cocktail experience: $32 per person.

Take a culinary trip through Mexico and China with China Poblano’s New Year’s Eve tasting menu. Guests will start with Morralito, traditional siu mai and snow pea leaf salad, followed by main course bites of Ron Cooper Oyster, Cochinita Tacos, Shrimp Mojo and Bistec con Mole Negro with sides of Twenty Vegetable Fried Rice and Mango Sticky Rice. Guests may choose to partake in the optional cocktail experience, featuring four unique cocktails inspired by Mexico and China.

Jaleo

Early dinner 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. – $90 per person. – Late dinner 7:00 p.m. to close – $150 per person.

Guests who wish to start celebrating the night early can enjoy a five-course meal of authentic Spanish tapas including cured Ibérico Pork Loin with pimenton and garlic, Oxtail Croqueta, and Rappahannock Oyster with royal ostera caviar and Ibérico bacon rounded out with chocolate cake. Jalèo will also offer a later-night menu of Spanish tapas designed to share with large parties. The plethora of bites include Iberico de Bellota Fermi and endive leaves filled with goat cheese, oranges, almonds and smoked trout roe, and “secret” skirt steak cut from the legendary black-footed pigs of Spain.

Rose. Rabbit. Lie.

Seatings:  6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m, $175 per person – Entertainment from 7:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.

The Cosmopolitan’s modern supper club will offer a decadent five-course meal alongside live music and entertaining performances. Guests will be welcomed to their tables with an amuse-boucheof Golden Oscetra Caviar. The first course offers a choice of Smoked Pumpkin Velouté, Waldorf Salad, or Waygu Steak Tartare. For the second course, diners will choose between White Truffle Risotto, Pork Cheek Tortellini, or Nantucket Bay Scallops. The third course allows a choice of Snake River Farms Waygu NY Pave, Ginger Glazed Chilean Sea Bass, or Roasted Jidori Chicken. For dessert, a choice of Baked Alaska, Chocolate Flourless Cake, or a Chocolate Terrarium for the table.

Scarpetta

Seatings: 9:30 p.m., 10:00 p.m. $225 per person.

Scarpetta’s decadent New Year’s Eve menu starts with an amuse-bouche made of foie gras terrina, huckleberry marmalade, white chocolate brioche and candied hazelnuts, followed by Marinated Maine Lobster Salad and Duck Ravioli. Guests can choose between Roasted Black Bass with melted leeks, clams, prosciutto, tomato & vermentino wine guazetto, or Grilled Prime Filet Mignon with Alaskan king crab, asparagus gratin, olive oil mashed potatoes, black truffle béarnaise, fresh shaved black truffle and barolo wine sauce. Guests are invited to finish off the meal with an assortment of desserts to make for the perfect evening.

STK

Early seatings: 4:00 p.m., 4:30 p.m., 5:00 p.m., 5:30 p.m., 6:00 p.m., 6:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m. – $195 per person

Late seatings: 8:00 p.m., 9:00 p.m., 10:00 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. – $225 per person

Optional wine pairing $100 per guest

Guests will be greeted with a glass of Veuve Clicquot upon arrival for STK’s decadent New Year’s Eve feast. The first course allows a choice of Butternut Squash Ravioli, Seared Big Eyed Tuna or Japanese Wagyu Beef Tartare, followed by an organic mixed greens salad. Guests will have their choice of a 10 oz. Australian Wagyu Strip Steak, a 6 oz. Filet with Crab Legs, Seared Chilean Seabass or Mushroom Risotto for their main entrees. For a perfectly decadent ending, guests have the option of layered chocolate cake or red velvet cheesecake. An optional wine pairing is also included with each course.

Zuma

Seatings: 5:30 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. – $285 per person – $425 per person, includes bottle of Dom Perignon, 2009

Rainer Becker’s modern Japanese restaurant will start the New Year with the ultimate Omakase six-course prix-fixe menu. Upon arrival, guests will be greeted with caviar and a jumbo prawn cocktail. The deluxe menu includes decadent dishes like five Japanese Waygu Tataki with truffle soy cured scallops, Foie Gras, Truffle Iberco Pork Skewers, Winter Black Truffle Toro Tartar, Caviar, and an exclusive selection of Chef Simon’s sushi and sashimi. Decadent desserts complement the delectable meal, with Zuma’s premium dessert platter and chocolate truffles completing the dining experience.

A la carte menus and reservations will also be available at Momofuku, Estiatorio Milos, Holsteins, The Henry and Wicked Spoon.

Sahra Spa & Hammam and Violet Hour Hair I Nails I Beauty

Violet Hour, an extension of Sahra Spa & Hammam, will offer special packages and unique opportunities for utterly satisfying transformations while taking in the beautiful sights invoking the desert. Packages will be offered from 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. For a full list of services offered, please visit their menu. For those just wanting to get pampered, the resort’s serene oasis, Sahra Spa & Hammam, will be open with regular hours from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
