Tacos & Tequila at Luxor Las Vegas Launches Sizzling Summer Specials
Tacos & Tequila (T&T) at Luxor Hotel and Casino has introduced delicious new food and drink specials that will be available throughout the summer.
T&T has expanded its happy hour to include additional menu items and extended hours. Happy Hour specials are now offered from 2 to 6 p.m., daily and feature half off appetizers and $5 drink specials. Appetizers include Guacamole, Habañero Chicken Wings, Beef Flautas, Fiesta Nachos and Quesadillas. Drinks include Dos Equis lager, Jose Cuervo shots, well drinks, red and white wine and sangria.
Other specials include the “Seis y Seis” package, a combination of six specialty carne, carnitas or chicken tacos and six 7-ounce bottled Sol beers, priced at $29; summer tequila flights including three pours of Patrón, El Jimador, Milagro or Don Julio, priced at $15; the Chonga, a 54-ounce frozen margarita with two upside down 7-ounce Sol beers that flow directly into the giant margarita, priced at $20; and buckets of six bottled Sol beers priced at $18.

Named one of the best tequila bars of 2011 in America by USA Today, Tacos & Tequila embodies the cool modernism of Mexico City while incorporating traditional elements of Mexican style and Las Vegas flair. The color mixture of old and new creates a vivid picture of brushed aluminum, dark wood, leather, bright fabrics and colored glass. The focal point of T&T’s design is its abstract sombrero composed of 20 brushed-aluminum panels featuring thousands of laser-cut images, including two 30-foot dancing, tequila-drinking skeletons. Lit from within, the breathtaking panels stretch across the entire length of the restaurant floor and across the common area, connecting the T&T retail store and walk-up daiquiri bar.
