Limoncello Fresh Italian Kitchen, located at 8245 W. Sahara Ave. at the Lakes near Summerlin, has revealed new dishes created by Chef Carla Pellegrino, including a few of her time-honored favorites.
Showcasing exceptional steaks, fresh seafood, and house-made pasta highlighting flavors from southern and north Italy with modern flair, the new menu holds true to Limoncello’s signature favorites with the addition of new dishes reflecting Pellegrino’s culinary talents.
Husband-wife restaurateurs and Limoncello Fresh Italian Kitchen founders Giuseppe and Jenny Bavarese have long been friends with Pellegrino, a Bravo “Top Chef” favorite who joined the restaurant earlier this year as chef and partner.
Founded in 2019, Limoncello Fresh Italian Kitchen has amassed a loyal following as one of Las Vegas’ top neighborhood Italian restaurants through cuisine that highlights prime steaks and fresh seafood that is shipped fresh daily and on display in the modern, refined dining room.
New Items
Pellegrino’s touch can be seen across the menu with new pasta, entrees, salads, and appetizers. Highlights include:
- jumbo lump crabmeat cocktail served over shaved ice with house-made cocktail sauce
- linguini with jumbo shrimp and fresh arugula in a white wine and garlic cherry tomato sauce
- house-made squid ink spaghetti with scallops, shrimp, calamari, mussels, and clams in a white wine and tomato sauce
- pear and arugula salad
- mussels and clams prepared in a white wine broth
- new presentations for steaks, which include a 16-ounce strip, 20-ounce rib eye, and 44-ounce tomahawk with a port wine demi-glace, poivre, and porcini mushroom cream sauces.
Pellegrino Dishes
Pellegrino has also brought some of her time-honored creations to Limoncello Fresh Italian Kitchen, a treat for fans of her Bacio and Bratalian Las Vegas restaurants. They include, but aren’t limited to:
- a lobster, crab meat, shrimp, and calamari salad with olives, celery, red bell peppers, and brunoise citronette
- grilled Spanish octopus served with fava bean puree, balsamic vinegar caramelized cipollini onions, and braised Belgian endives
- 16-ounce pork chop with traditional Neapolitan hot and sweet cherry peppers over mashed potatoes
- 12-ounce lamb chops slightly breaded and accompanied by caramelized onions, prosciutto mashed potatoes and French beans with house-made mint sauce
Fan Favorites
Limoncello Fresh Italian Kitchen favorites that built a loyal following for the restaurant remain on the menu, including, but aren’t limited to:
- marinated and then grilled Calabria sausage served with sauteed rapini
- house-made fettuccini with Bolognese and Grana Padano cheese
- gnocchi Norma, house-made potato dumplings sauteed with eggplant, grape tomatoes, and light marinara topped with fresh mozzarella
- chicken Milanese, pounded and lightly breaded chicken breast topped with fresh heirloom tomato and served with arugula salad
- pizza Della Nonna, topped with mozzarella, Italian sausage, Shiitake mushrooms, and onions
Cocktails
Complementing the new menu selections and reflecting the flavors of spring, new cocktails include:
- the Limonata, made with limoncello, Ramazotti Rosato, house-made lemonade, mint, and hibiscus-lime tincture
- Limondrop, a combination of Absolut Citron vodka, limoncello, lemon juice, and black lemon bitters
- Picante Rosarita, made with Espolon blanco tequila, Italicus, lime juice, basil, and firewater bitters
- Paper Plane, made with Wild Turkey bourbon, Aperol, Amaro Nonino, and lemon juice
Spanning 8,000 square feet with high ceilings, the restaurant boasts an upscale bar and enviable modern wine cellar visible throughout the restaurant, in addition to Strip-quality cuisine and service for up to 325 guests in an elevated, neighborhood setting.
Limoncello Fresh Italian Kitchen is a top Summerlin destination for special events with two spacious private dining rooms, each equipped with a modern audio-visual system: the Amalfi room, accommodating up to 120 guests for mixers and 80 for seated dinners; and Sorrento, which can host up to 100 guests for mixers and 60 for seated dinners. A large parking lot adds convenience for diners.
