From magicians and comedians to acrobatic skaters and athletic performers, V The Ultimate Variety Show inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood provides a fast-paced, high-energy display of talent that will entertain you.
When the show premiered at the Venetian Resort & Casino in 2001, creator David Saxe knew it would be an instant hit!
As a producer of Las Vegas shows for many years, Saxe realized V The Ultimate Variety Show deserved its own state-of-the-art space. He began drawing up plans to build the Ovation Theater (later renamed V Theater), conveniently located within the Miracle Mile Shops, which opened at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in 2004.
From the day the curtain went up on V The Ultimate Variety Show, the word got out. Top performers from around the world began flocking to Las Vegas hoping to be part of this award-winning show.
Today, a dozen rotating specialty acts make up the show. Doing this gives audiences a different performance each night! The one thing that hasn’t changed over the years, is the show’s host – the “World’s Fastest Juggler” Wally Eastwood. Wally’s charm, sharp wit, and ability to connect with the crowd, have made him a fan favorite for almost two decades.
About V The Ultimate Variety Show
When visiting Las Vegas, many people have a hard time deciding which show they should see. The show is a great option because you get a mixture of all types of shows. You’ll be able to see a “variety” of acts, which you might also see in a lot of other shows in Vegas, in one show. That saves you money. Plus, not only is the show family-friendly, but each act that you see is only a few minutes long, which will keep your little one’s attention.
About Planet Hollywood Resort
Planet Hollywood Las Vegas (formerly the Aladdin) is a casino hotel on the Las Vegas Strip in Paradise, Nevada. It is owned and operated by Caesars Entertainment.
The property was previously the site of an earlier resort known as the Aladdin, which operated from 1962 to 1997. It was demolished in 1998, to make room for a new resort that would also be named Aladdin.
The new Aladdin resort opened in August 2000 but suffered financial difficulties and was eventually purchased in 2003 by a partnership of Planet Hollywood and Starwood, which renamed it Planet Hollywood in 2007.
Hilton Grand Vacations operates the timeshare portion of the property, known as Elara. – Source: Wikipedia
