O’Sheas Casino celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with the return of its legendary block party extravaganza. The event kicked off with Brian “Lucky” Thomas leading a parade of shenanigans as he was carried by muscular green men and followed by eight fellow leprechauns, two stilt walkers, two balloon artists, four bag pipers and one lucky couple who would later that day be honored with a commitment ceremony. The parade started at the entrance of The LINQ and proceeded into O’Sheas, where the commitment ceremony was to take place.

The lucky couple, Joe Greene and Jennifer Michaelson, met and fell in love at O’Sheas four years prior and wanted to celebrate their love at the place that brought them together over a heated game of beer pong. Thomas, an ordained Mini-ster®, officiated the ceremony on the stage inside of O’Sheas as patrons applauded and cheered in the name of love. As Thomas closed the ceremony and pronounced the couple Mr. and Mrs. Greene, the crowd gathered in toasting to the newlyweds.

The rest of the day was filled with festivities including live music, an endless series of beer pong games, balloon art, bean bag toss, frozen green concoctions from Purple Zebra and a plethora of green beer and Irish Car Bombs.

After a 23-year reign on the Las Vegas Strip, the original O’Sheas closed in the spring of 2012 to make room for The LINQ, Caesars Entertainment’s $550 million outdoor shopping, dining and entertainment district. The original O’Sheas enjoyed a strong following and was beloved by tourists and locals alike. The reimagined space features elements of the original Strip-side casino where guests once again are able to enjoy Las Vegas in a welcoming and fun environment.
