Muchachita – The 100-Calorie Margarita
The newest drink to hit the menu at Havanatone, RHUMBAR’s sizzling Latin night, also comes without any guilt. The new “Muchachita” is a skinny, 100-calorie margarita, featuring a delicious blend of pomegranate and Aloe Vera. Now guests can samba and shake while they sip this low calorie libation on Wednesday nights.
Concocted by award-winning mixologist Kristen Schaefer, the “Muchachita” blends the fresh taste of Aloe Vera with fruity flavors of pomegranate and lime. Milagro Silver tequila completes this delicious and healthy cocktail.
“We wanted to create a cocktail that embraced the high-energy vibe of Havanatone,” said Schaefer. “Not only is the ‘Muchachita’ delicious, added nutrients from the Aloe Vera and pomegranate juices help to promote good health. So now guests can skip the gym and enjoy a night of Latin dancing and margaritas – and still feel healthy about it.”
The Muchachita:
2 ounces El Sol Pomegranate Aloe Vera Juice
¾ ounces fresh lime juice
1-½ ounces of Milagro Silver tequila.
Combine ingredients in a shaker with ice and strain. Served with a lime wheel.
Havanatone, Vegas’ only Latin night under the stars, transforms RHUMBAR’s patio into the sexiest dance floor on the Strip every Wednesday night. Talented dancers from Rumba Rica will salsa and cha cha to live music and Latin beats by DJ Gerard Fortuna. The spicy night begins at 9 p.m. with a complimentary dance instruction for revelers that want to partake in the Latin fervor. As the night heats up, “Havanatone” will thrill audiences with fiery numbers and heart-pounding performances choreographed to the eruption of the iconic Mirage volcano.
RHUMBAR is a highly-stylized cocktail and cigar lounge inspired by the cool mood of the Caribbean. The plush outdoor patio is reminiscent of a tropical retreat offering a picturesque location for guests to mingle, sip cocktails and smoke cigars. Located near the main entrance of The Mirage, RHUMBAR is owned and operated by Drive This! Entertainment. The lounge and patio are open from 11 a.m. until midnight Sunday through Wednesday, and 11 a.m. until 2 a.m. Thursday through Saturday.
