Osborne made waves in the music industry when her soulful voice topped Billboard charts with “One of Us.” Her passion for Motown always had a profound influence on her music, leading her to tour with Motown sidemen the Funk Brothers and appear in the documentary film Standing in the Shadows of Motown. In 2003 the singer-songwriter toured nationally with the Dixie Chicks, joined San Francisco rock band The Dead and released her fourth album, How Sweet It Is, a collection of classic rock and soul covers. Following numerous artist collaborations and compilations showcasing her wide repertoire of musical genres, she formed her current band Trigger Hippy with former Black Crowes drummer Steve Gorman and released her newest solo album, Bring It On Home, a GRAMMY-nominated collection of vintage blues and soul covers.
