The Holiday Season in Las Vegas

  • Botanical Garden at Bellagio – Bellagio has done it again. The holiday display at the Botanical Garden is outstanding. Make sure to check it out. It’s free to see.
  • Holiday Cactus Garden at Ethel’s Chocolate Wonderland – Have you ever seen what more than half-a-million holiday lights looks like? Well go experience it for yourself at their annual light display. Santa makes a visit every Friday – Sunday until Christmas. Admission is free. They are open through January 1.
  • Holiday Events at Town Square – Head over to Town Square Park to check out Santa’s Norman Rockwell inspired house. Santa will be there daily through December 24 to take photos with. Don’t forget, Santa takes his milk and cookies break from 1-2pm and 5:15-6pm. You can also see snow falling, along with a 10 minute choreographed show with holiday music at 7pm.
  • Glittering Lights – Similar, but different than driving in your car through a neighborhood to see homes decorated with light, this drive-thru experience allows you to see millions of lights over at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. Admission is $20 per vehicle. Glittering Lights is open through January 6.
  • Fashion Show – Adventure to Santa – With only 5 like it in the United States, makes sure to check out The Adventure To Santa by DreamWorks DreamPlace at Fashion Show Mall. It’s a 2,000 sf interactive cottage where visitors can build a virtual sleigh, ride in a magic motion sleigh, and of course, visit Santa. This is a free experience in which you can purchase picture packages, a video of your Santa visit, and other holiday items. It’s open daily through December 24.
  • Galleria Mall Light Show and Santa – Through Christmas Eve, you can visit and take holiday pictures with Santa. You can also check out the nightly light show, every hour, starting at 5pm.
  • Winter in Venice at The Venetian Las Vegas and The Palazzo – You’ll find attractions and entertainment at The Venetian Las Vegas and The Palazzo. Check out the 3-D light show, Italian-inspired food, a skating rink, and character performers. The event is open through January 5.
  • Opportunity Village’s Magical Forest – Over the past 20 years, the Magical Forest has turned into a winter wonderland. Enjoy the winter-themed carnival games, brightly lit trees, and concessions. They are open from November 21 – January 4.
  • Train Rides with Santa – You can ride with Santa on a real train, the “Polar Express” over at the Springs Preserve. Santa will be reading holiday stories and handing out candy canes during the special 20-minute trip. The train is open from 11am-3pm December 22-24. Admission is $3 from members and $5 for non-members with a Springs Preserve general admission.
