Five Guys Burgers and Fries is proud to announce the opening of its eighth mouth-watering location in the Las Vegas valley.

Located at 10965 Lavender Hills Drive at the “Sahara Entrance” of the new Downtown Summerlin, Five Guys will open Thursday, Oct. 9 at 11 a.m.

“We’re elated to announce the opening of Five Guys’ eighth location in Las Vegas,” said Gregg Carlson, co-owner of Five Guys Burgers and Fries. “Downtown Summerlin is a fantastic addition to Las Vegas and we’re looking forward to providing the juicy burgers, fresh-cut fries and exemplary service Five Guys has become famous for in the Summerlin community.”

Using only fresh, never-frozen ground beef, Five Guys Burgers and Fries offers mouth-watering hamburgers, cheeseburgers, bacon burgers, hot dogs and of course, the world-famous Five Guys Fries. With 15 free toppings available, including mayo, lettuce, grilled mushrooms, jalapeno peppers and Bar-B-Q sauce, guests have more than 250,000 possibilities when ordering a burger.

With 10 locations in Nevada, including the upcoming Downtown Summerlin in Las Vegas, Five Guys Burgers and Fries serves never-frozen, hand-formed burgers cooked to perfection, along with fresh-cut fries cooked in pure peanut oil and complimentary peanuts served in bulk. Recently named the number one burger restaurant in America by Playboy Magazine, all Las Vegas, Henderson and Northern Nevada Five Guys locations operate 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

1986: The first Five Guys location opens in Arlington, VA.

1986 – 2001: Five Guys opens five locations around the DC metro-area and perfected their business of making burgers… and starts to build a cult-like following.

2002: Five Guys decides DC metro-area residents shouldn’t be the only ones to experience their burgers and start to franchise in Virginia and Maryland.
