The Danny Gans Memorial Champions Run for Life Hosted by Donny benefits the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation (NCCF).

This special event, hosted by legendary entertainer and international star Donny Osmond, will continue to honor the memory of Las Vegas entertainer Danny Gans and to support, as Danny did, critically ill children and their families living in Southern Nevada.

Runners, walkers and community supporters are invited to compete in the 5K run, the fun run/walk and team race. Following the 5K, there will be an inspirational mini-run for children with critical illnesses called the Champions Run for Life – a one-of-a-kind and unforgettable event in Las Vegas. In addition to the run, there will be fun for the entire family including food, drinks, raffle drawings, bounce houses and entertainment.

WHEN:

7:30 a.m.: Fun Run/walk begins
8 a.m.: 5K, team, wheelchair and stroller divisions begin
8:30 a.m.: Interviews with Donny Osmond
9 a.m.: Champions Run for Life
9:45 a.m.: Awards Ceremony

ABOUT Champions Run for Life

The Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation’s Champions Run for Life following the 5K celebrates children ages 2 through 18 with life-threatening illnesses. These special participants will be applauded by guest cheerleaders and mascots as they run, walk or wheel themselves around the bases and will receive a special medal for bravery in their battle against disease. The competitive 5K run will award the top male and female finishers with a $500 cash prize, the second place male and female finishers will each receive $200 and the third place male and female runners will receive $150 each. Medals will be awarded in all 5K divisions and to the top 10 boys and girls in each grade from kindergarten to fifth in the Fun Run. All participants will each receive a race t-shirt and goodie bag.

All entries on race day will be $40. Teams of 10 or more are $17 per person.
