Take your taste buds across the globe with celebrated Vietnamese chef Khai Vu as your guide at the Taste of Vietnam Farm Table Dinner at Honey Salt on August 27 with a 6 p.m. cocktail reception followed by 6:30 p.m. dinner.

Restaurateur Elizabeth Blau and Chef Kim Canteenwalla invite you to experience authentic Thai cuisine inspired by Honey Salt’s Todd Harrington’s recent travels. Savor the unique flavors of Banh Cuon Mushroom Scallion Rice Rolls, Grilled Shrimp Chao Tom, Pork Hue Tamale, and Lemongrass Chili Lime Redbird Chicken.

Tickets to this evening are required and are available for $49 per person, with an optional wine pairing for an additional $25. Tickets can be purchased online on their website.

Welcome Cocktail

Lemongrass Mojito – sugarcane, perilla leaves

For The Table

Jackfruit Chicken Bites – chicken rau ram salad, sesame rice cracker

To Start

Banh Cuon – handmade rice roll, woodear mushroom, scallion oil, fried shallots

Hue Tamale – shrimp, pork

Chao Tom – grilled shrimp on sugar cane

Mid Course

Mi Quang Soup – chicken broth, pork belly, prawns, quail egg, banana blossom

For the Table

District One Grilled Pork – duroc pork, cilantro, sautéed green onion

Lemongrass Redbird Chicken – half chickens, chili, shallot, lime

Com Tam & Noodles – broken rice & rice noodle

Bok Choy – ginger, soy

To Finish

Che Ba Mau – red bean, mung bean, pandan jelly, coconut milk

Featuring a changing menu of seasonally-inspired comfort food, Farm Table dinners are served family-style and showcase unique beverage pairings, as well as occasional special guests. Tickets to the Farm Table series must be purchased in advance by going online to their website. Gift certificates to the ‘Farm Table’ dinners are also available.

Honey Salt is located in at 1031 S. Rampart Blvd, Las Vegas, Nevada. Honey Salt is open seven days a week: Monday 11 a.m. – 9 p.m., Tuesday through Friday, 11 a.m. – 10 p.m., 10  a.m. – 10 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. – 9 p.m. Sunday.
