From September 1 to October 31, 2023, Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort will be in full swing, offering a plethora of both new and beloved seasonal treats throughout the resort. Disneyland Park will unveil bewitching costumes for none other than Mickey Mouse and his beloved pals. Meanwhile, the Haunted Mansion Holiday will continue its cherished tradition, featuring a tantalizingly diabolical gingerbread house that takes center stage in the ballroom.
For those seeking to celebrate the spirit of Día de los Muertos, eternal love, and the enduring bonds of family, Plaza de la Familia at Disney California Adventure Park will be open from September 1 to November 2, 2023. Here, you can savor mouthwatering Mexican cuisine while enjoying cherished entertainment that showcases characters and songs from Disney and Pixar’s Academy Award®-winning film, “Coco.”
Back by popular demand, Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party returns to Disney California Adventure on 25 select evenings between September 5 and October 31, 2023. This year, it promises to be more spectacular than ever, with rare character appearances, encounters with villains, and much more. Magic Key holders will have an exclusive opportunity to secure their tickets, with pre-sale starting on June 27, before the general public on June 29.

Character Glow-Up: At Disneyland Park, you’ll be delighted to see Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and their friends sporting new ghostly attire featuring luminescent fabrics and charming bat-themed details. Furthermore, Jack Skellington and his companions from “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas” will once again take over Haunted Mansion Holiday, showcasing the latest bespoke gingerbread masterpiece in the attraction’s ballroom.
Spooky Spectaculars: Every night through October 31, prepare to be spellbound by the “Halloween Screams” nighttime spectacular, where projections, special effects, and music converge to create a mesmerizing experience at Main Street, U.S.A., Sleeping Beauty Castle, Rivers of America, and in front of “it’s a small world.” MagicBand+ adds an extra layer of spookiness with ominous illuminations and spine-tingling vibrations. Plaza de la Familia and Día de los Muertos Tributes: Plaza de la Familia, celebrating the Mexican traditions of Día de los Muertos, will once again grace Paradise Gardens in Disney California Adventure Park from September 1 to November 2, 2023. You can immerse yourself in the vibrant display of marigolds, enjoy heartwarming live entertainment, and partake in family crafts. Paradise Garden Grill will tantalize your taste buds with a menu inspired by Mexican cuisine.
Throughout the experience, characters and music from Disney and Pixar’s “Coco” will take center stage, emphasizing the enduring importance of family. “A Musical Celebration of Coco” will feature a talented company of Folklórico dancers, Mariachi singers, and musicians, narrating Miguel’s journey to the Land of the Dead.
