About Mura Masa
Born and raised in the Channel Island of Guernsey, Mura Masa’s hit track “Lotus Eater” off of his debut album “Soundtrack To A Death,” burst onto the modern music scene, receiving pickup by several notable BBC Radio 1 DJs. Since then, Mura Masa’s music continued making waves with his sophomore, self-titled album earning a GRAMMY® nomination in 2017 before taking the award home for “Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical” the following year for his remix of HAIM’s “Walking Away.” Not bound to a single genre, Mura Masa has pushed artistic boundaries while working with a multitude of artists across all styles of music including British rapper Stormzy, French singer/songwriter Christine & the Queens, and A-list artists like A$AP Rocky and Ariana Grande.
