Las Vegas’ longest-running football contest, Pick the Pros, is closing out the football season with the largest weekly prizes in the competition’s history – a $50,000 grand prize, awarded weekly to the winners of the last four weeks in the contest.

A lucky Las Vegas resident was the first lucky winner, taking home a $50,000 payday for a perfect 15-0 performance in Week 14.

Pick the Pros

“Pick the Pros has long been Las Vegas’s favorite free football contest,” said Bob Scucci, Director of Race and Sports Book Operations for Boyd Gaming. “To say thank you to Las Vegas locals, we’re excited to give them a shot at the biggest weekly prizes in Pick the Pros history.”

Beginning at 5 p.m. each Tuesday, players can swipe their B Connected card at any B Connected kiosk at the Orleans, Sam’s Town, Suncoast, Gold Coast, Fremont, Main Street Station or the California to make their picks. The player with the most correct straight-up picks during the weekend’s slate of professional football games will take home a $50,000 grand prize through the week of December 28. (In the event of a tie, first place finishers will split the grand prize.)

Pick the Pros starts a new competition every week, so even first-time players are eligible for a shot at the $50,000 grand prizes during the final weeks of football season.

“Since Pick the Pros is a free contest, players have no risk and all reward,” said Scucci. “It’s free and easy to play, and even late season players have the opportunity to win big.”
