Jeff Dunham at THE COMEDY FESTIVAL
Jeff Dunham and his troupe of wacky and hilarious puppets will be joining the many famous comedians performing at the TBS-hosted Comedy Festival. Join Dunham and his hysterical ventriloquist comedy on November 22nd at 10 pm in Caesars Palace’s The Colosseum.
The talented Dunham has performed stand-up comedy on numerous shows, including Comedy Central Presents in 2003. He released his first DVD, Arguing with Myself, in 2006 to rave reviews. In it, Dunham opens the show with a monologue and is then joined on stage by his usual cast of puppets. He also released the comedy special Jeff Dunham: Spark of Insanity in 2007, and has since filmed Jeff Dunham’s Very Special Christmas Special, which will premiere on Comedy Central on November 16th.
With his hilarious DVDs, his country-wide comedy tour, and his numerous appearances on Late Night with David Letterman and The Tonight Show, Dunham has quickly become one of the most popular and talked-about comedians in the nation. His “Achmed the Dead Terrorist” bit has become the 8th most watched video on YouTube as well as the 2nd most favorited. People everywhere love his cutting-edge comedy, in which the puppets say everything that people are not normally supposed to say. Dunham’s regular cast of characters includes Peanut, the frenzied purple woozle who hails from an island in Micronesia and is a self-described “comic genius”; Walter, a cranky and sarcastic old retiree who loves to call out people’s stupidity; Jose Jalapeño, a talking Jalapeño on a stick; and Achmed the dead terrorist, who vows to kill the audience if they laugh at him – which of course, they do!
