On display inside the store will be a custom 11-foot, 800-lb. replica of the Statue of Liberty carved from Hershey’s Milk Chocolate and a statue of the Empire State Building made of 1,800 Hershey’s Milk Chocolate bars.

Hershey’s Chocolate World Las Vegas is an experiential retail store, occupying two floors and boasting an eye-catching 74-foot façade, that will immerse visitors in the iconic candy brands they love: Hershey’s, Hershey’s Kisses, Reese’s, Ice Breakers, Jolly Ranchers, Twizzlers and more.

The doors to Hershey’s Chocolate World Las Vegas will be officially opened on June 3, 2014 at 9:00 a.m.. Immediately following, team members will hit the Strip and various community hubs delivering Hershey’s Kisses chocolates.

“Everything is bigger and brighter on The Las Vegas Strip and we are thrilled to be taking the Hershey’s Chocolate World experience to the next level at New York-New York,” said Amy Hahn, Vice President and General Manager, The Hershey Experience®. “Our guests will enter an engaging and interactive space where they can taste new treats, personalize sweet gifts and create keepsake photos. These experiences are sure to draw candy lovers from what is arguably the most exciting street in the world and inspire some Hershey’s happiness.”

According to Dino DiCienzo, President of Chocolate Experiences Inc. who has partnered with The Hershey Company to expand Hershey’s Chocolate World retail experiences in the U.S., the choice of this location to create the newly imagined concept is not an accident.

“We believe our new flagship store is a perfect meeting of renowned American icons: Hershey’s brands, the famed Las Vegas Strip and the re-creation of the New York City skyline that is New York-New York,” said DiCienzo.

This sweet spot will be located between the Statue of Liberty and Brooklyn Bridge and feature a towering Hershey’s Milk Chocolate bar, an 18-foot Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup and dazzling entrances in the shape of Hershey’s Kisses Chocolates. Once inside, Hershey’s Chocolate World retail experience offers guests a chance to create their own Hershey’s happiness through a variety of interactive experiences such as customizing candy wrappers and personalizing Hershey’s Kisses plumes.

New York-New York announced in April plans to modify its skyline and Brooklyn Bridge, creating a dynamic environment brought to life through a vibrant patio culture and retailers that are new to the market. The Hershey’s Chocolate World retail experience, with its incredible array of famous Hershey’s-branded products, will anchor the new array of shops and dining experiences.
Cynthia Kiser Murphey, President and COO of New York-New York Hotel & Casino, said, “We are excited to welcome Hershey’s Chocolate World retail experience to the New York-New York Hotel & Casino and are delighted it will be part of our new outdoor experience. Visitors to Las Vegas seek one-of-a-kind experiences and we believe Hershey’s Chocolate World retail experience will immediately become a must-see attraction.”

Hershey’s Chocolate World retail experience will also offer a variety of opportunities for guests to share their experience with friends and family via social media tools, just part of the immersive technology that will make the new store a must see interactive chocolate experience.
