Hakkasan Group Hosts an Action-Packed Weekend in Honor of Labor Day
Labor Day Weekend is one of the biggest events of the year in Las Vegas. Hakkasan Group hosted an action-packed, celebrity filled weekend.
JEWEL Nightclub at ARIA Resort & Casino kicked the holiday weekend off Friday, Sept. 1 with a live performance by hip-hop artist Anderson Paak for “The Good Life Fridays.” The “Come Down” singer kept the crowd partying until the early hours of the morning, as he played his hits for the sold-out venue. The following night, legendary DJ Kaskade kept the partying going as he played an electrified set for club goers to enjoy. Iconic DJ Zedd rounded out the holiday celebrations Monday, Sept. 4 for “Flawless Mondays,” which also served as his 28th birthday celebration. Midway through his set, the “Stay” hit maker was presented with a geometrically patterned cake that proclaimed his name as well as a custom engraved bottle in order to mark the special occasion.
The party never stopped at Hakkasan Las Vegas Nightclub at MGM Grand during Labor Day Weekend, where partygoers from all over the world celebrated in style. Cash Cash kicked the weekend off Thursday, Aug. 31, with a high-energy bash during their “Cash Cash is King” party. Excited guests flocked to the club Friday, Sept. 1, where Hardwell took to the turntables for a night filled with dancing and confetti. On Saturday, Sept. 2, Tiësto took to the booth to keep the crowd on their feet all night long while spinning his chart-topping hits and surprised fans by bringing Martin Garrix on stage and debuting a brand new track by Garrix. Calvin Harris wrapped up the four-day bash Sunday, Sept. 3, with a packed house and kept the high-energy level going until the early hours of Labor Day morning.
Down the Strip at OMNIA Nightclub inside Caesars Palace, top-selling electronic dance artist Martin Garrix played his chart-topping picks for the jam-packed crowd Friday, Sept. 1 as Armin Van Buuren took over the turntables and gave an electrifying performance Saturday, Sept. 2. DJ Steve Aoki closed out the action-packed weekend with a high-energy set Sunday, Sept. 3.
1 OAK Nightclub at The Mirage kicked off the holiday weekend Friday, Sept. 1 with an unforgettable performance by 2 Chainz, who didn’t let an injury come between him and his fans as he performed from a decked out wheelchair as the crowd went wild. Also spotted at the nighttime hot spot was hip-hop artist Mase. The party continued throughout the weekend with a special guest performance by Jason Derulo Saturday, Sept. 2, who wrapped up the holiday weekend in style with his hit tracks and a packed crowd.
The Strip’s daytime destination, WET REPUBLIC at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, welcomed guests to a weekend of non-stop action throughout Labor Day Weekend. Starting off the festivities Friday, Sept. 1, Tiësto took to the DJ booth as pool-goers braved the heat and partied the afternoon away with the famous DJ. Continuing the holiday weekend, Martin Garrix hit the turntables Saturday, Sept. 2 where he played for the packed pool until the sun went down. Kaskade took over the pool Sunday, Sept. 3 for a special Labor Day Weekend version of the venue’s champagne-filled industry party, “Endless Sundays.” Rounding out the weekend Monday, Sept. 4, Steve Aoki hit the pool to host an unforgettable Labor Day party. The energetic artist spun his famous beats and sprayed fans with champagne as they danced in excitement into the late afternoon.
LIQUID Pool Lounge at ARIA Resort & Casino hosted several daytime pool parties throughout the holiday weekend, beginning Thursday, Aug.31 with DJ Shift, followed by Scooter & Lavelle Friday, Sept.1, DJ Irie Saturday, Sept. 2, WeAreTreo Sunday, Sept. 3, and DJ Stretch Monday, Sept. 4.
The European-style oasis Bare Pool Lounge at The Mirage kicked off Labor Day Weekend Thursday, Aug.31 with DJ Zsuzsanna and DJ D Miles Friday, Sept. 1. As DJ Flow took over the turntables Saturday, Sept. 2, partygoers were shocked to spot pop artist Jason Derulo hanging out in the venue. Arriving with five guests, Derulo indulged in several premium food offerings and cocktails at the premier dayclub. The “Swalla” singer took the time to greet his fans as he enjoyed the high energy party before leaving around closing time. The holiday weekend concluded with DJ Greg Lopez Sunday, Sept. 3 and DJ Five Monday, Sept. 4 for a special industry event “Bare Five 0.”
