Caesars Entertainment Earns 3 Awards at Global Gaming Expo

Caesars Entertainment was recently honored with three awards at the Global Gaming Expo’s Casino Entertainment Awards Ceremony on Oct.1, 2014 in Las Vegas.

Of the nine award categories, Caesars Entertainment was nominated in five categories and took home three awards, including Jeff Dunham for “Casino Entertainer of the Year,” who performed at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in June, and will launch his residency show, “JEFF DUNHAM: Not Playing with a Full Deck” at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on Nov. 28, 2014. The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, home to the world’s greatest entertainers including Elton John, Rod Stewart and Shania Twain, was named “Casino Arena/Amphitheater of the Year.” Additionally, recognized as the “Casino Entertainment Executive of the Year” was Kurt Melien, the company’s Vice President of Entertainment who is responsible for, among many other successes, bringing one of pop music’s biggest superstars, Britney Spears, to Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino for her Las Vegas residency show, “Britney: Piece of Me.”
