Specialty teas, champagne, and caviar come together to create an upscale mid-day delight with the all-new Afternoon Tea at ARIA Resort & Casino’s Lobby Bar.

A modern take on a timeless European tradition, Afternoon Tea is an elegant social ritual of sophisticated sips and light bites available noon- 4 p.m. Friday through Sunday.

Curated by ARIA Director of Beverage Daniel Molitor and award-winning tea importer Art of Tea, the experience delivers an eclectic selection of luxury tea options including the Sakura, a white tea blend with soft, sweet and floral notes; Immortal Nectar, a rare, premium and cave-aged Pu-erh black tea with a light sherry bouquet and a smooth, earthy flavor; and Eisai’s Choice Sencha, a prized green tea with a grassy flavor and vibrant hue, assembled to bring forth clarity and focus with every sip. Each serving of tea is presented in a delicate floral teapot and accompanied by traditional accoutrements of fresh lemon, cream, and organic honey.

For a perfect pairing, guests are presented with a wide selection of delectable miniature pastries, such as bite-size Hazelnut Financiers and Brittany Shortbread, and savory sandwiches, like the Smoked Salmon, topped with herb goat cheese and trout roe served on a soft shortbread; or Jamón Ibérico, with crispy brioche and frisée.

The luxurious options:

Afternoon Tea – Guests receive choice of tea, plus a selection of four savory accompaniments and four mini-desserts; priced at $45 per person.
The Royal Tea Tree – The ultimate indulgence, guests receive the Afternoon Tea experience plus one ounce of Osetra Caviar atop savory canapés – served upon a tableside multi-level sterling silver tree display – and a glass of Schramsberg, Blanc de Blancs, Brut; priced at $140 per person.
Elevated Beverages – Cocktails, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages and coffee selections by specialty coffee roaster LAMILL COFFEE are available a la carte.
