About F1 Las Vegas

Here is some exciting news about the 2023 Formula One World Championship. One of the races that have got everyone buzzing is the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix. It’s going to be the first time Formula One races in Las Vegas since 1982, and the event will take place on a temporary street circuit that includes the famous Las Vegas Strip.

Not only that, but the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix will be the third Grand Prix in the United States on the 2023 calendar, following the Miami and the United States Grand Prix. It’s going to be a historic moment because it’s been over 40 years since there were three races held in the United States in a Formula One season.

The track is going to be a 3.803-mile (6.120 km) street circuit with 17 corners and a 1.181-mile (1.900 km) straight. The circuit runs counterclockwise, and it’ll start at Harmon and Koval. A large lot is being transformed into the pits and paddock area, with a permanent track included.

The first corner of the track is a hairpin, and then the course bends slightly left and then into a fast right, transitioning from the permanent circuit to city streets. The cars will then travel 0.50 miles (800 m) down Koval Lane before entering a slow 90-degree right, followed by a long, sweeping left that encircles the new MSG Sphere arena.

Next, there’s a left-right twisty section, followed by a slightly faster left that transitions onto Sands Avenue. The track then goes through two very fast bends on Sands Avenue before entering a slow left onto Las Vegas Boulevard, also known as the Las Vegas Strip.

This section of the track is a 1.181-mile (1.900 km) flat-out section with two straights and a slight sweeping left, passing some of Las Vegas’s most famous hotels and casinos.

Finally, the circuit goes through a tight series of slow corners onto Harmon Avenue, down a 0.50-mile (800 m) straight before going through a very fast left to complete the lap and transition back to the permanent track past the pits.

In summary, the F1 Las Vegas Grand Prix is going to be a must-see event in the 2023 Formula One World Championship. With an exciting temporary street circuit that includes the Las Vegas Strip and a mix of slow and fast corners, it’s sure to be a thrilling race that you won’t want to miss!
