About 27 A Musical Adventure
27 A Musical Adventure honors the music icons that are gone too soon at the age of 27: Kurt Cobain, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Robert Johnson, Jim Morrison, and Amy Winehouse. Throughout the show, the audience is taken on a retrospective journey of sight and sound, showcasing each artist’s respective contributions to our musical landscape. The show culminates with the artists all performing together on one stage in a rock concert like no other.
The show first debuted at L.A.’s legendary Troubadour on March 10, 2020, to a standing-room-only crowd of more than 400 that danced and cheered for more than two hours as top tribute artists and studio musicians brought the legends of rock back to life. Narrated by actor and television personality John O’Hurley, 27 – A Musical Adventure is produced by Ramy El-Batrawi and co-written by Batrawi and James D’Alessandro. Musical Director Erik Himel and vocal coach to the stars, Roger Love as Vocal Director, round out the team
The show is located at 24 Oxford inside Virgin Hotels Las Vegas and takes place Wednesday through Sunday at 8:30 p.m. (doors open at 8 p.m.) with a new Sunday matinee performance at 3 p.m. starting this Sun., July 18.
