Offered for $17.95 per person, Prime Rib Saturdays will be available from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. every Saturday, beginning Nov. 8. The special includes a complimentary well cocktail, domestic draft beer or glass of wine for guests 21 years or older and a 12 oz. cut of delicious slow-roasted beef prime rib served with garlic mashed potatoes and farm-fresh vegetables.

17 South will also introduce Chef John Gremo’s homemade New England Clam “Chowda,” beginning Saturday, Nov. 1. Straight from Massachusetts-native and longtime UNLV Executive Chef’s family cookbook, Chef Gremo’s New England Clam “Chowda” is available daily by the cup for $5 or as an entrée in a fresh bread bowl for $10.

“There’s no better way to welcome the cooler weather than with a hearty, stomach-warming meal,” said Chef John Gremo, Executive Chef of 17 South at Tahiti Village. “I’ve taken this New England Clam Chowder recipe straight from fisherman who sailed from Boston to the Ports of Maine, who needed a savory meal to brave the brisk Northeastern Winters. We proud Bostonians have been serving the famous chowder since 1836, where it was featured at Ye Olde Union Oyster House, one of our nation’s oldest continuously-operating restaurants.”

Continuing its menu expansion, 17 South has introduced a vast collection of new drink offerings to the Open To Close Locals Happy Hour, including Goose Island IPA and unique special cocktails developed by the 17 South staff, such as “Tina’s Toxic Tonic,” “Johnny’s Mexican Candy” and “David’s Blue Lagoon.” Since its debut earlier this summer, the Las Vegas locals have embraced the Open To Close Locals Happy Hour with standing-room only crowds. Featuring $2 Miller and Coors draft, 50% off domestic beers, well drinks, specialty cocktails and select food items, the Open To Close Locals Happy Hour is available daily for Las Vegas locals with a valid ID, beginning at 11 a.m.

Located in the floor-to-ceiling windowed eastern corner of the main lobby of Tahiti Village, 17 South offers a gorgeous outside deck (complete with televisions so you will not miss your favorite game) along with spectacular views of the immense main pool and lushly landscaped courtyard. 17° South’s new design and décor is welcoming and relaxing and also includes table top gaming and two slot machines if that is more your gaming style. The restaurant/bar seats 80 indoors and another 30 on the outdoor deck.

The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily and the bar is open from 11 a.m. until 2 a.m. daily. A daily happy hour for non-Las Vegas residents is available Monday through Friday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. For more information, please visit www.17SouthBar.com.
