As so many businesses are closing their doors due to COVID-19, the Highway Radio Network is stepping up to provide free airtime in the form of advertising for businesses of all sizes – whether they are currently open, have changed business models, or are doing something great for the community and want to spread the word.

“Radio stations must keep their community informed at all times,” says Highway Radio Network Owner, Richard Heftel. “We have always been here for our community, as it’s made up of our listeners, advertisers, and sponsors which have been critical to our success.”

Businesses interested in spreading the word, can send their 30 second script or general information regarding their business direct to Richard at richard@heftel.com and his team will create the ad and place it into rotation on their applicable stations and sites.

Highway Radio Network recently begun airing these announcements on-air as well as postings on social media and including pertinent information in dedicated email blasts. Local restaurants were among the first to take advantage of this opportunity, including Rick’s Rollin Smoke BBQ & Tavern, and several casino and hotels, along with tourist destination hotspots such as the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, The Peterson Automotive Museum, and others have also participated.
