“I’m thrilled to be here and join this hospitality community in Las Vegas,” says Chef Charles Phan. “We’re bringing our piece of Vietnam to diners and we invite everyone to try something new and let us walk you through different dishes and flavors.”

Guests can expect award-winning Slanted Door dishes including Slanted Door Spring Rolls – gulf shrimp, pork, mint, shallot mayonnaise, and peanut sauce; Crispy Imperial Rolls – gulf shrimp, pork shoulder, vermicelli noodles, and roasted peanut; and Shaking Beef – cubed filet mignon, watercress, red onion, and lime sauce; along with exclusive dishes from Las Vegas Chef de Cuisine Lanny Chin.

The Slanted Door Las Vegas cocktail program focuses on refreshing, citrus-forward flavors with nods to Las Vegas’ cocktail past. Signature Slanted Door favorites like The Dorchester – Beefeater gin, lime, maraschino, organic grapefruit; and Ginger Limeade – Hangar One kaffir lime vodka, ginger, lime; and Chef Phan’s favorite Whiskey Cocktail – Buffalo Trace bourbon, Angostura and orange bitters, gomme syrup, and orange peel served on a hand-cut cube; are included in the new restaurant’s offerings. The restaurant’s spirits program reflects Chef Phan’s love of whiskey, with thoughtful offerings across the wine and spirits menus.

Designed by Studio Terpeluk, The Slanted Door Las Vegas brings a sense of peace in a chaotic city with texture and calm, defined and softened by the warmth of material, lighting, and texture. Fumed oak floors and terrazzo tile are a sleek counterpoint to the rough-textured plaster walls that line the primary dining space, while the exposed forty-foot kitchen, the restaurant’s main theatrical space, is detailed with subtly-colored wallpaper and the movements of the chefs. Simple marble tables, hunter green leather booths and banquettes, and black leather chairs bring an understated luxury to the restaurant. A long marble bar, kinked in the middle and edged with blackened steel, reinforces the angular nature of the space. A large window overlooking the strip provides a direct visual connection between the busy street life and the calm and relatively rarefied interior, drawing life into and from the restaurant.

The Slanted Door Las Vegas will offer dishware by San Francisco’s Jered’s Pottery, teacups from MM Clay, pieces from Kyle Minor Design, art from Judy North and custom seating from Las Vegas’ Austin General Contracting.

Located on Las Vegas Boulevard at The Forum Shops, the restaurant can be found at the retail destination’s street level. The Slanted Door Las Vegas opens for dinner daily at 5:30 PM.
